Northwest BachFest Live continues in February

Northwest BachFest Live continues in February 2022 with two concerts at Barrister Winery, 1213 W. Railroad Avenue in Spokane. BachFest presents two Grammy-winning musicians, Jason Vieaux, classical guitar (pictured above), and Zuill Bailey, cello.

The first program, Saturday, February 12 at 7pm, is by guest Jason Vieaux, who Gramophone calls "among the elite of today's classical guitarists" and described by NPR as "perhaps the most precise and soulful guitarist of his generation." The program ranges from Bach to Scarlatti to Morel's Danza Brasilera to two pieces composed by or for Vieaux. Tickets for this performance are available at

NW BachFest Artistic Director Zuill Bailey joins Vieaux for the second event with a delightful program including Bach, Ellington, Grattali, Falla and more, Sunday, February 13 at 3pm. This concert is Sold Out.

National Geographic Live: The Secret Life of Bears January 26 at The Fox

Fox Presents: National Geographic Live - The Secret Life of Bears, coming to Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox on Wednesday, January 26 at 7pm. Rae Wynn-Grant is dedicated to wildlife ecology research, and she visited Kenya at age 20 to study East African lions - top carnivores that live in close quarters with local communities - and observed that problematic interactions between the two groups threatened conservation efforts. Now, Dr. Wynn-Grant is finding similar patterns for North American black and grizzly bears. Join this committed carnivore ecologist for a fascinating look inside the secret lives of bears and a report from the front lines of the mission to help humans and carnivores coexist peacefully.

Harlem Globetrotters coming to the Arena January 24

The world famous Harlem Globetrotters are bringing their 'Spread the Game' Tour to the Spokane Arena on Monday, January 24 at 7pm. This tour is a basketball event like no other, and has all the fun and action that the Harlem Globetrotters are known for.

Inland NW RV Show & Sale going on now at the Spokane County Fair & Expo Center

After a one year Covid-19 hiatus, the 34th Annual Inland Northwest RV Show returns to the heated Spokane County Fair & Expo Center, going on now through Sunday, January 23. This week's Fireside Music at Arbor Crest

PBR Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour Spokane Classic this Saturday at the Arena

The top bull riders and rankest bucking bulls of the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour are headed back to the Spokane Arena this Saturday, January 22 at 7pm. All 40 competing riders will attempt one bull each in Round 1. Following the opening round, the top 10 will then advance to the championship round where they will attempt one final bull, all in an effort to be crowned the event champion.
