CATS coming to First Interstate Center October 19-24



CATS, the record-breaking musical spectacular by Andrew Lloyd Webber that has captivated audiences in over 30 countries and 15 languages, is coming to Spokane to the First Interstate Center for the Arts Tuesday, October 19 through Sunday, October 24 for 8 performances, with matinee performances on Saturday and Sunday. CATS tells the story of one magical night when an extraordinary tribe of cats gathers for its annual ball to rejoice and decide which cat will be reborn.

March Madness Returns in 2022!



The University of Idaho and the Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena have announced that tickets for the 2022 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championship - Spokane Regional, taking place March 25-March 28, 2022 will go on sale at 7am on Tuesday, October 19. The championship will feature three exciting games over two days of heated competition. Guests at the Spokane Regional will be part of the Sweet Sixteen and the Elite Eight, and will watch one team earn the right to play in the Final Four in Minneapolis, MN.

For those interested in buying tickets to the Spokane Regional there's a sweet opportunity available: All guests who purchase tickets to the 2022 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championship - Spokane Regional, will be placed on a priority waiting list giving them the first opportunity to purchase tickets for the 2024 NCAA Men's Basketball Championship hosted at the Spokane Arena. Old World Christmas Outlet Store Grand Opening tomorrow



Old World Christmas Factory Outlet Store will open its doors for the holiday season shopping this Saturday, October 16. The Outlet Store has a new look and they are completely stocked up with fine collectible Christmas ornaments and gifts. Old World Christmas has been located in Spokane for over 40 years, and have developed thousands of Christmas ornaments and other intricate holiday products. The Outlet Store is located at 4005 E Main, they are open daily, hours are Saturday, 10am-4pm, and Sunday through Friday, 11am-3pm.

Leslie Odom Jr. with the Spokane Symphony tonight



Whitworth University, in partnership with the Spokane Symphony, welcomes award-winning vocalist, songwriter, actor and author Leslie Odom, Jr. for Whitworth's fall President's Leadership Forum Concert today, Friday, October 15, 7:30pm at Martin Woldson Theater at the Fox. Odom will be performing two sets with the Spokane Symphony under the direction of Music Director and Conductor James Lowe.

Odom received two Academy Award nominations this year for the movie One Night in Miami. He was nominated for best supporting actor for his role as legendary singer Sam Cooke and received a nod for writing, composing and performing the film's original song, 'Speak Now.' Odom is perhaps best known for his role as Aaron Burr in the highly acclaimed Broadway musical Hamilton, for which he won a Tony Award in 2016.

Pink Floyd Tribute at the Bing October 22



Pigs on the Wing: A tribute to Pink Floyd Wish You Were Here 2021 is in Spokane for one performance only at The Bing Crosby Theater, Friday, October 22 at 7:30pm. The band focuses on 1970s era Pink Floyd and has in recent years featured full album performances of Dark Side of The Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals, and The Wall as well as a wide range of material from Floyd's earlier years. Pigs on the Wing's 2021-2022 feature show is a full album performance of Pink Floyd's 1975 psychedelic masterpiece Wish You Were Here, followed by a full second set of carefully curated Roger Waters era Floyd.

Disney on Ice coming to the Arena October 22-24



Disney skaters are back! Disney on Ice Presents Dream, coming to the Spokane Arena for 6 shows, from Friday, October 22 through Sunday, October 24. See Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and stars from Frozen, Moana, Coco, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Tangled, The Princess and the Frog, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty. See magical moments filled with breathtaking ice skating and beloved Disney songs and stories.

Performances are Friday, 7pm; Saturday, 11:30am, 3:30pm and 7pm; and Sunday, 11:30am and 3:30pm. Tickets are on sale now at www.ticketswest.com.
