Seattle Kraken Preseason game vs Vancouver Canucks this Sunday at the Arena



The Seattle Kraken will play their first ever NHL Preseason game against the Vancouver Canucks at the Spokane Arena this Sunday, September 26 at 6pm. This game will be one of three 'home' games played by the expansion Kraken in their inaugural preseason with each being hosted by a WHL club in Washington.

The Little Spokane River Artist Studio Tour this Saturday



The 14th Annual Little Spokane River Artist Studio Tour will be live and in person, for one day only, this Saturday, September 25, from 10am to 5pm. Over 4 dozen professional artists from the region will exhibit their work across five studio locations, in close proximity to each other, along the Little Spokane River, in North Spokane. Light refreshments will be available for sale at most studios.

KPBX's Kids' Concert this Saturday



KPBX Kids' Concert, Villa Blues & Jazz, is this Saturday, September 25 at 1pm and will be broadcast on KPBX 91.1. This show will take you from classic to jazz with Villa Blues & Jazz. Jazz masters will perform memorable and fun songs that have become jazz standards, and include some educational conversations about songs, instruments, and more. Villa Blues includes Heather Villa, Steve Bauer, Michael Lenke, and Brian Flick.

Final Arbor Crest summer concerts of the season



Today, Sunday and next Thursday are the last three outdoor live music events at Arbor Crest as part of their Summer Concert series. Tonight, September 23, Kosh is guest artist. This Sunday, September 26, Common Ground performs. The last outdoor concert of the season is next Thursday, September 30, with Jonathan Tibbetts performing. Music runs from 4:30-6:30pm. Fall Festival of Homes starts this weekend



The 17th Annual Fall Festival of Homes, put on by the Spokane Home Builders Association begins this Friday and Saturday, September 24 & 25, and concludes October 1 & 2. In-person tours are back for 2021, and this year's show features 13 Show Homes completed and four Neighborhood Spotlights where homes are in 'dirt-to-sticks' stages of construction. Show Homes and Neighborhood Spotlights are open to the public. Again this year, 3D virtual tours of each home are available, where you can learn about the builders, discover modern floorplans and smart home technology trends, and view interior design ideas from the comfort of your home. Hours are 10am-5pm both weekends.

Historical tours at the Commellini Estate September 29



You can have an opportunity to take a guided tour around the beautiful grounds of the Commellini Estate and be transported back to a bygone era, hear tales of the early days at the estate.
