Thursday, August 26, 2021 Family Movie Night at the MAC this Friday
It's the Northwest Museum of Art and Culture's 'Family Movie Night' in the MAC's outdoor amphitheater this Friday, August 27 at 8pm, and the movie is 'Night at the Museum'. Admission is $5 and includes fresh popped popcorn (reservations online are suggested). Free for children ages 5 and under. Bring your own blankets and enjoy the movie. The Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture is open longer this evening too, with extended hours from 7:30pm, so come early, enjoy the exhibits inside, and then settle in for the fun movie outside.

 CdA Artists Studio Tour the weekend
The 9th Annual Coeur d'Alene Artists Studio Tour runs this Saturday & Sunday, August 28 & 29 with 16 studios and over 38 professional artists participating. This event is free and open to the public. This unique and intimate opportunity creates free, unlimited access to the artists, and a clearer understanding of their stories and creative processes. Hours are 10am-5pm both days.

 Tacos Y Tequila Festival this weekend
The Hispanic Business/Professional Association is hosting the 1st Annual Tacos Y Tequila Festival, this Saturday & Sunday, August 28 and 29 in downtown Spokane. Lots of food, live music and cultural activities. The Tacos Y Tequila Festival is a family-oriented event and some of the funds generated during the two days of activities will help many students with scholarships. Many of these youths are from our local communities that are interested in going to college. Hours are 1-10pm on Saturday, and 11am-7pm on Sunday at 618 W Main.

 Inlander Restaurant Week continues through Saturday
Inlander Restaurant Week is winding down, but there's still time to visit some of your favorite restaurants in town and try their special three-course menus, specially priced at either $22 or $33. This year's event goes through this Saturday, August 28 and is presented by STCU.

Summer Sidewalk Sale downtown this Saturday
The second annual downtown-wide Summer Sidewalk Sale is this Saturday, August 28 from noon to 4pm. Vendors and retailers all across the city center will be moving their inventory out into the fresh air and featuring an array of discounts and special promotions.
