Inlander Restaurant weeks starts today!



After a long delay due to the pandemic, this year's Inlander Restaurant week is finally here, starting today, Thursday, August 19 through Saturday, August 28. Over 60 restaurants in the Spokane/Coeur d'Alene area are participating this year, offering three-course menus, priced at either $22 or $33.

Unity In the Community at Riverfront Park this Saturday



This special multi-cultural celebration is this Saturday, August 21 from 10am-4pm in Riverfront Park. This free, family-friendly event consists of five key vendor areas: Youth Fair, Career and Education Fair, Health Fair, Early Learning Fair, and General Vendors. There will also be a Cultural Village, live music, and activities for all ages. Bring a blanket or chairs with you so you can sit on the lawn.

Picnic with the Spokane Symphony at Beacon Hill August 25



Picnic with the Spokane Symphony on the beautiful grounds at Beacon Hill Catering and Events on Wednesday, August 25 at 7pm. An ensemble of Spokane Symphony musicians will perform the elegant and graceful Beethoven Septet, along with works by Arthur Pryor, Jean-Michel Defaye, Claude Debussy, and more. This al fresco concert includes your choice of a gourmet picnic meal from the Beacon Hill kitchen with the option of adding a grazing box and a bottle of wine.

Manito Fall Plant Sale this Saturday



The Friends of Manito Fall Plant Sale is this Saturday, August 21 from 8am-3pm, just east of the Gaiser Conservatory. Many varieties of plants, grasses, shrubs, vines, and garden art will be available for purchase. The Friends of Manito members get a 10% discount. Memberships are for sale at the cashier.

Browne's Addition Summer Concert tonight featuring Sidetrack

The 24th Annual Browne's Addition Concert Series, presented by the Browne's Addition Neighborhood Council, presents Sidetrack tonight, August 19 from 6-8pm at the gazebo in Coeur d'Alene Park. Sidetrack is a six-piece multi-instrumental dance band that plays country rock, rock, oldies, and many original tunes. The concert is free but donations will be collected at intermission to help offset the expenses of presenting the concerts.

Spokane Indians play Hillsboro Hops starting tonight

The games run today, August 19 through Sunday, August 22 at Avista Stadium. All games start at 6:30pm, except Sunday, with a game time of 1:05pm. Saturday is Fireworks Night.
