The Stanley Cup comes to Spokane today!



Tyler Johnson, former Spokane Chief and NHL Champion, will bring the Stanley Cup to the Spokane Arena today, July 29 from 3-4:30pm. Tyler not only played for the Chiefs from 2007-2011, but he is also a Central Valley High School graduate. Anyone interested in seeing this iconic trophy can stop by today. The Spokane Chiefs will have a photographer on hand to take photos at no cost to fans, but on a first-come, first-served basis as time permits. Use of personal cameras or mobile devices for photos are not be permitted.


The Festival at Sandpoint begins tonight



The Festival at Sandpoint is back for its 39th annual season, and runs today, July 29 through Sunday, August 8 and concerts run every Thursday through Sunday. This year's lineup includes Gladys Knight, Keb' Mo & Band, Young the Giant, REO Speedwagon, St. Paul & the Broken Bones, Jake Owen, Shakey Graves, Family Matinee: Music from the Movies, and the Grand Finale with the Spokane Symphony and Whitney Claire Kaufman on August 8.

Art on the Green in CdA this weekend



The 53rd Annual Art on the Green in Coeur d'Alene will be held this Friday through Sunday, July 30-August 1 at North Idaho College in downtown CdA. This summer, over 100 artists, a variety of musicians, performers, and food vendors will be on hand for a great weekend. There will also be a Children's Art Garden with lots of fun activities. Free shuttle bus between the festival and downtown Coeur d'Alene.

The Wonder Fair this Sunday at Wonder Market

High Tide Lobster Bar, Bosco Pasta & Panini, and Evans Brothers Coffee Roasters will be throwing a party this Sunday, August 1, happening in Spokane's historic Wonder Building at 835 N Post Street. The Wonder Fair runs from 11am to 4pm, and will be a family friendly festival with live music, face painting, party games, a charity raffle, a bouncy castle for the kids, and a dunk tank with a chance to dunk some noteable Wonder Market and Spokane personalities. All vendors will be open for food service and kids under 12 eat for free. Drink specials also available, plus guest vendors and ice cream to help battle the heat.

A portion of the day's sales as well as 100% of the proceeds from the charity raffle and dunk tank will go to support the work of The Wishing Star Foundation. The Wonder Market website is wonderspokane.com.


Twelfth Night at the MAC tonight through Sunday



Tonight at the Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture, is a performance of William Shakespeare's popular romantic comedy, Twelfth Night, 7pm at the MAC's Amphitheater. Other performances are this Friday through Sunday, July 30-August 1. All performances are at 7pm, and Sunday is at 5pm. Chelsea DuVall is directing this production.

Art Festival this Saturday in Manito Park

Join the Friends of Manito for the first-ever Manito Park Art Festival this Saturday, July 31 from 11am-6pm. There will be over 30 local artist booths, food truck, and a children's booth. Location is the Southeast entrance of the park. This event is free and open to the public.
