NW BachFest - Across the Miles Spring Series Finale April 23-26



NW BachFest will conclude their 'Across the Miles' Spring Series, Chopin Re-imagined & All Jazzed Up! with a special performance by virtuosic pianist Matt Herskowitz, on Friday, April 23 through Monday, April 26. Matt will come directly to viewers online from Montreal with his new Chopin program. In this performance, you will hear Frederic Chopin's elegance meeting Matt Herskowitz's cutting-edge imagination and dazzling skills. Included with the performance will be a videotaped pre-concert talk with Artistic Director Zuill Bailey.

A new 'Across The Miles' Online series for 2021/22 will be announced soon to begin in September. Across The Miles Tickets are $20 per household. Information and links to Tickets at www.NWBachFest.com.


Riverfront Park Spring Market starts today!



The Spring Farmers Market at the Pavillion in Riverfront Park begins today, April 7 and runs on Wednesdays from 3-7pm, through May 12. Admission is free.

Spring Break Youth Camp-at-Home with the MAC



Looking for something for the kids to do during spring break? There's still time to sign-up for camp-at-home experiences for hours of creative engagement through our Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture. One-day camps provide fun and inventive activities that campers can enjoy from home. Camp-at-ome kits include instructions easily followed by kids plus all the materials they'll need. Virtual camps run this week, today through Friday, April 7-9.

Get Messy Camp - Today, April 7
Get messy with hands-on art making fun. Discover your creative side without any worry about making a mess. Squish, splatter, and stomp your way into art as you explore printing, painting, and clay molding.

Paper Doll Camp - Thursday, April 8
Explore the MAC costume collection through the classic medium of paper dolls. Learn about vintage styles while designing your own work.

Comic Strip Camp - Friday, April 9
Regional artist Dan McConnell introduces you to the world of creating comics. Develop your own story and create your own comic strip in this engaging camp.

2nd Friday ArtWalk in Downtown CdA



This Friday, April 9 from 5-8pm, is 2nd Friday Artwalk in downtown Coeur d'Alene. Stroll the streets and enjoy locally and nationally acclaimed artists. Visit supporting galleries, shops, restaurants and businesses for this free, family friendly event.

Live music at Barrister Winery this week

Barrister Winery, at 1213 W Railroad Avenue, will have live musical performances on Wednesday and Friday evenings. Hours are from 5-10pm and music runs from 7-9pm. No admission, but reservations are required.

This week, today, April 7 is Nick Grow and Friday, April 9 The Cronkites perform.

Bring a picnic supper, or order take out from your favorite eatery, or pre-order Grazing Boxes from Beacon Hill which will be delivered to the Winery the evening of the concert (call Beacon Hill at 509-482-3556 to preorder). 15th Annual Scotch Open at CdA Resort Golf Course this Saturday



This Saturday, April 10 from 11am to 8pm, is a day of award-winning golf to honor and celebrate the land where golf began. Start off the day on the practice tee as Scottish Bagpipers fill the air with ancient highland hymns. Enjoy a day of spring golf while sampling unique and delicate flavors of select Fine Scotch Whiskey featured throughout the golf course during the round.
