Friends of the Bing presents Music on the Riverside Patio at Osprey Restaurant



Friends Of the Bing is presenting a new summer concert series: Music on the Riverside Patio at Osprey. These are outdoor events on Osprey's newly renovated patio. Seating is spaced according to CDC rules, guest hand washing stations are available, and all staff are gloved and masked.

Concerts run from 6-9pm. This week's lineup:
Wednesday, July 15 - Son of Brad
Thursday, July 16 - Sammy Eubanks
Friday, July 17 - Jason Perry

Trial By Ordeal: Poetry by Karen Mobley released



Karen Mobley, Spokane visual artist, writer, and art consultant, has completed her book, Trial by Ordeal, and it was released from Resource Publications, a division of Wipf and Stock in Eugene, Oregon.

After several traumatic events in Karen's life, including the loss of close family members, she was inspired to write these poems. This sequence of poems, Trial by Ordeal, chronicle loss and explore Karen's awe and astonishment in nature. Karen also painted the cover art for the book.

Trial by Ordeal is a good and loving daughter's journey, dealing with loss and grief, and the lessons taught by gratitude and nature. The book is now available at Wishing Tree Books, Atticus, and Aunties as well as through Amazon and other on-line book resources.

Spare Parts performs at Barrister winery tonight

Wednesdays at the Winery continue at Barrister, with tonight's featured musical performance by Spare Parts. Music runs from 6-9pm and reservations are required, call 509-465-3591. Indoor and outdoor seating available and wine services will be provided at the tables.

The MAC's Summer Camp-at-Home now through August

Fun and creative outdoor activities that campers can enjoy in their own backyards. Get Messy, Blow Your Top or Make a Good Impression in the MAC's one-day camps. Or sign-up for a week-long camp where kids will have Nature-Made adventures or explore Black Cauldrons and Ruby Slippers.

Camp-at-home kits include video links and step-by-step instructions easily followed by kids plus all the materials they'll need.

CdA Casino Resort Hotel postpones large-scale events until 2021



The Coeur d'Alene Casino Resort Hotel announced that upcoming large-scale events scheduled for 2020 will be rescheduled for next year due to concerns for the ability to safely host a large gathering during the continuing COVID-19 pandemic.
