New Year's Eve - Beethoven's Ninth with the Spokane Symphony at the Fox



The Spokane Symphony continues its beloved tradition of playing Beethoven's Ninth Symphony on New Year's Eve, Tuesday, December 31 at Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox. It's an exhilarating testament to the human spirit. The concert begins at 7:30pm and runs for only one hour, leaving plenty of time to continue the celebration. Conductor Morihiko Nakahara is joined by the Spokane Symphony Chorale, Amy Porter, Soprano, Patti Mortier, Mezzo-Soprano, Stephen Rumph, Tenor, and Charles Robert Stephens, Baritone.

Puttin' on the Ritz New Year's Eve Gala



The Spokane Symphony Associates presents Puttin' on the Ritz, an elegant and exciting way to ring in the new year! On Tuesday, December 31 beginning at 9pm, enjoy a 3-course dinner, plus salad and dessert and three no-host bars. Party to the entertaining music of MasterClass Big Band on two large dance floors. Illusionist Taylor Kyle will perform his magic at your table. Toast in the New Year at midnight with a glass of complimentary champagne and festive party favors. Black tie preferred or dressy cocktail. To be held at the Historic Davenport Hotel, Hall of Doges and Grand Pennington Ballroom.

Holiday lights display at the Gaiser Conservatory in Manito Park



See the Gaiser Conservatory transformed into a winter wonderland with over 30,000 lights. The Friends of Manito are presenting their annual holiday lights display in Manito Park at the Gaiser Conservatory now through this Sunday, December 22. Hours are daily from noon-7:30pm, best viewing is after sunset. This event is free and open to the public. The Conservatory is located at 4 W 21st Street.


Adam Trent's Holiday Magic at the Bing Dec 22

Magician Adam Trent is bringing his signature brand of magic and illusion to Spokane in a high-tech stage spectacle this Sunday, December 22 at 2pm and 7:30pm at the Bing Crosby Theater. Adam Trent's 'Holiday Magic' is an immersive extravaganza of magic, comedy and music designed to entertain the entire family. Adam's show is enormously interactive, bringing volunteers onstage throughout the show, and even encompassing the entire theater audience into illusions. America's Got Talent finalist, singer/songwriter Evie Clair, will be Adam's special musical guest star.

Spokane Symphony's Holiday Pops features Vanessa Williams at the Fox



American pop icon, Vanessa Williams, stars in Holiday Pops with the Spokane Symphony, singing her hits and songs from her holiday albums. The program, conducted by Music Director James Lowe, includes selections by the Spokane Symphony Chorale, a carol singalong, and an appearance by Santa Claus!

An American In Paris coming to First Interstate Center in January



The legendary Broadway musical, 'An American in Paris' is coming to the First Interstate Center for the Arts Tuesday and Wednesday, January 14-15. Enjoy the music of George Gershwin in this classic story, featuring songs like 'I Got Rhythm,' ''S Wonderful,' 'But Not for Me,' and 'Stairway to Paradise.'
