Change of Venue for tonight's Sunset Symphony Concert - moving to The Fox

Due to extreme high heat and poor air quality, tonight's Spokane Symphony Sunset Concert at Arbor Crest Wine Cellars is moving into Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox at 7:30pm (NOT the regularly scheduled 7pm at Arbor Crest.)

"We made the decision to move the concert indoors due to the extremely high temperatures expected today, which impact the patrons' enjoyment of the music, and also affects the musicians and their instruments. We are also concerned about poor air quality. For all of these reasons, we feel that everyone will be more comfortable in the air-conditioned comfort of Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox," said Spokane Symphony Executive Director Jeff vom Saal.

A selection of Arbor Crest wines will be available for purchase at Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox. No outside food is allowed at The Fox. The Fox concessions stand will have limited snacks and an assortment of beverages for sale. It is recommended that patrons dine before arriving for the concert.

Concertgoers are welcome to sit anywhere in The Fox, and a section of prime orchestra seats will be roped off for patrons with table seat reservations. Those with lawn seating tickets are welcome to sit anywhere else in the theater. There are no refunds for this concert because it was not cancelled, it was moved indoors for the safety and comfort of the Symphony's valued patrons and musicians.

Tickets are still available for this concert at $22 per seat. Details about the concert: spokanesymphony.org/concerts-tickets/sunset-symphony-at-arbor-crest-no-1/. For any questions, call the Box Office at 509-624-1200.

There is still another Sunset Symphony Concert at Arbor Crest next Wednesday, August 14, and at this time, it is still scheduled to take place at Arbor Crest.
