4th of July Fireworks celebrations in the Inland Northwest



Here's a listing of fireworks shows you can check out across the Inland Northwest this 4th of July!

Riverfront Park Carnival & 4th of July Celebration
Riverfront Spokane will be hosting a Carnival on July 4-7 for a fun-filled 4-day celebration. Join Spokane for 4th of July fireworks, live entertainment, a beer garden in the Lilac Bowl, carnival rides, food, games, and more. Fireworks begin at 10pm. The Carnival will continue in the park through the weekend, running from 12pm-10pm daily through Sunday, July 7.

Northern Quest Resort & Casino
Free kids activities, live music, food and beer garden starts at 4:30pm with a grand fireworks display at 10pm.

Coeur d'Alene City Park
Downtown CdA parade from 10am-1pm, live music, food vendors, and fireworks over CdA Lake at dusk.

Kendall Yards
In Olmstead Brothers Green Park - live music, food trucks, and ice cream from 6-10pm, viewing party for the downtown Spokane Fireworks.

Liberty Lake - Pavillion Park
Live music begins at 6pm and grand fireworks display just after dusk.

Sandpoint
Children's parade at 9am, grand parade at 10am in downtown Sandpoint, fireworks at dusk from City Beach.


New Exhibit opens at the MAC July 5



Giants, Dragons & Unicorns: The World of Mythic Creatures Traveling Exhibition from the American Museum of Natural History opens at the Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture this Friday, July 5. This family-friendly exhibition examines science and legend and traces the natural and cultural roots of some of the world's most enduring mythic creatures. The exhibit includes models and cast fossils of prehistoric animals and much more.

The exhibit also offers numerous interactive stations throughout the exhibition, like rearranging scale models of mammoth bones to look like a giant human skeleton, or digitally build your own dragon and watch it come alive.

Mozart on a Summer's Eve in Manito Park July 16 & 17

Connoisseur Concerts will present Magical Musical Evenings for its 29th annual Mozart On A Summer's Eve, with two concerts in this month on Tuesday, July 16 at 7pm with a repeat performance on Wednesday, July 17 at 7pm on the lawn East of the Duncan Gardens fountain in Manito Park.

The first half of the program features Mozart On A Summer's Eve Music Director Verne Windham with the Connoisseur Concerts Wind Ensemble and and Ann Fennessy, soprano. The second part of the program presented by Northwest BachFest Artistic Director and Grammy-Winning cellist Zuill Bailey features a group formed at the Eastman School of Music in 2003, Break of Reality, with Classical Cello Rock. Break of Reality is known for their presence on platforms like Spotify and Pandora Radio with millions of views for their Game of Thrones theme.

This Week at Arbor Crest



The music continues week at Arbor Crest this week, with a special 4th of July Concert, with Into the Drift performing pop-rock. Music is at the Tasting Room stage and starts at 5:30, admission $6.

And on Sunday, July 7, Soul Proprietor (pictured above) performs on the Main Stage, admission $12. Music begins at 5:30.

The Davenport Grand Hotel presents Vintage Spokane July 21



This year's Vintage Spokane, set for Sunday, July 21 at the Davenport Grand Hotel, will feature more than 50 wineries and a great lineup of gourmet foods for a great afternoon of tasting.

Special ticket prices are available until July 8. Advance tickets are $60 and include three hours of tasting from 3-6pm, plus a complimentary wine glass and 14 tasting tokens. VIP tickets are $75, and include an extra hour of tasting, an upgraded glass and four additional tokens. The event benefits the Spokane Youth Sports Association. Purchase tickets early and save, prices increase by $10 on July 8.

A Mozart Opera on Lake CdA July 14

Inland Northwest Opera presents their annual Opera on the Lake featuring Mozart's, Cosi fan tutte. In this romantic comedy, Cosi fan tutte, (subtitled 'The School for Lovers'), offers a handy how-to guide for measuring true commitment among fiancees. The sunset cruise begins Sunday, July 14 at 7:30pm, with boarding at 6:30pm at the Coeur d'Alene Resort.

Spokane Symphony presents The Music of Harry Potter



The Spokane Symphony presents: Ancient Tales of Magic: The Music of Harry Potter & Other Halloween Favorites, coming to the Fox Theater for three performances, October 26 & 27. Many concertgoers come in costume to enjoy the pre-concert activities in the lobby of Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox. Morihiko Nakahara conducts.

Snoop Dogg coming to Northern Quest for 2 shows this month

Khalid coming to Arena July 9



Multi-platinum global superstar Khalid is coming to the Spokane Arena Tuesday, July 9 at 7:30pm, as part of his 'Khalid Free Spirit World Tour'. The tour is in support of his upcoming sophomore album 'Free Spirit'. Khalid has enlisted friend Clairo, the 20-year-old 'Pretty Girl' singer-songwriter, as special guest on his summer tour.
