Chihily Exhibit at the MAC now through Sunday



Don't miss your last chance to view Luminous: Dale Chihuly and the Studio Glass Movement at the Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture in Browne's Addition. The exhibit runs through this Sunday, June 23, and features the works by 33-internationally renowned studio glass artists including Dale Chihuly, Preston Singletary, and Lino Tagliapietra.

The Davenport Grand Hotel presents Vintage Spokane July 21



Spokane's favorite wine-and-food experience, Vintage Spokane, returns for its eighth year on Sunday, July 21, bringing more than 50 wineries and a great lineup of gourmet foods to the Davenport Grand Hotel for an afternoon of tasting. Vintage Spokane has more than doubled in size since its debut in 2011, with more wineries, more restaurants and more attendees creating a great atmosphere.

This year's Vintage Spokane will once again highlight the award-winning and up-and-coming wineries and restaurants throughout the Northwest, each offering samples of their incredible fare. Attendees will have the chance to sip wines from over 50 of the region's most celebrated wineries and sample delicious culinary options from area restaurants.

Advance tickets are $60 and include three hours of tasting from 3-6pm, plus a complimentary wine glass and 14 tasting tokens. VIP tickets are $75, and include an extra hour of tasting, an upgraded glass and four additional tokens. The event benefits the Spokane Youth Sports Association. Buy your tickets early and save, as ticket prices increase by $10 on July 8.

Three Dog Night at the Fox this Sunday

Thursday night live at the MAC



June's Thursday Night Live is this Thursday, June 20 from 5-9pm and the evening is packed with activities and it includes the first in the Museum's Summer TNL Concert Series in the outdoor amphitheater from 6-8:30pm with Funky Unkle. Hear fine art photographers Bill and Kathy Kostelec talk about the continuing significance of photos on film from 6-6:30 pm and see 25 years of Spokane photography in a new exhibition of their work, A Spokane Silver Celebration. It will be one of the last days to visit the wildly popular Luminous: Dale Chihuly and the Studio Glass Movement - enjoy a gallery walk through with Museum staff and/or tour historic Campbell House.

Jay Owenhouse, a legendary escape artist and one of the most awarded illusionists in history, returns to Spokane for one night only in 'Dare to Believe,' an illusion spectacular. Jay has amazed millions on TV in 'Masters of Illusions' and 'Magic on the Edge.' Jay welcomes the audience into his mysterious world of wonder and the impossible. He works with Bengal tigers up close, performs dangerous escapes, and uses inspiring storytelling in his show.
