Jason Mraz coming to First Interstate Center November 2



Multi-platinum singer/songwriter Jason Mraz is coming to First Interstate Center for the Arts on Saturday, November 2 at 8pm. The multiple Grammy award-winner will be joined by longtime collaborators Raining Jane for the run, dubbed 'Ladies & Gentleman, An Evening with Jason Mraz & Raining Jane.' The Tour will also feature new material, including songs from Know. Mraz's sixth studio album, released in August 2018. The album became his fifth consecutive studio album to debut in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200.

Street Music Week is coming next week



This year's Street Music Week, the 17th annual, will take place during the noon hours in downtown Spokane, Coeur d'Alene, and the Garland District, next week, Monday-Friday, June 10-14. 300+ talented pickers, singers, instrumentalists, dancers, magicians, comedians and more, PLUS the World-Famous Keyboard Cat will appear daily in downtown Spokane to pose for selfies and to give away 'I met Keyboard Cat' buttons for a food bank donation.

Every penny collected during this event goes to the 2nd Harvest Food Bank that serves the region's satellite food distribution programs. Street Music Week 2018 raised $29,322, elevating their 16-year total to $209,322 or 1,046,610 meals distributed through 2nd Harvest Food Bank.

Spokane Public Radio Goes to the Movies with Monterey Pop

Join Spokane Public Radio for a special screening of Monterey Pop at the Bing Crosby Theater on Wednesday, June 12 at 7pm. The film and festival that helped shape rock history, Monterey Pop, is a 1968 concert film by D. A. Pennebaker documenting the Monterey Pop Festival of 1967. See Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Otis Redding, Ravi Shankar and more give iconic performances that helped launch their careers nationally.

Also, be part of the taping of Spokane Public Radio's radio program: Movies 101 with Dan Webster, Nathan Weinbender and guest Carolyn Lamberson discussing music documentaries. 4000 Holes will also present a display of 60's memorabilia in the lobby.

Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band coming to the Arena September 19



The legendary Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band are making a stop in Spokane on their final tour. Performing at the Spokane Arena on Thursday, September 19, Bob Seger is bringing all the hits and more on his Roll Me Away Final Tour.

Spokane In Bloom Garden Tour June 15



Spokane in Bloom Garden Tour is a single day, self-guided event, showcasing outstanding gardens in the Spokane area. It is one of the premier gardening tours in the Inland Northwest area. This year's event, 'Adventure Awaits' will be held Saturday, June 15 from 10am-5pm. The tour is in its 20th year, started by The Inland Empire Gardeners. Proceeds are donated to garden programs and charity organizations in the local area.

The Free Summer Concerts in Manito Park at the Park Bench Cafe begin this Friday, June 7 with The Tourist Union performing. Music runs from 6-8pm. Food and beverages available for purchase at the Cafe. The Park Bench Cafe is open 7 days a week.

John Ford Coley at the Fox this Friday



John Ford Coley & Friends will be performing in Spokane at Martin Woldson Theater at the Fox this Friday, June 7 at 8pm. Famous as part of the Grammy nominated duo with England Dan, the two reached multi-gold and platinum status with several hit albums and singles.

Festival of Speed Car Show returns to Downtown for First Friday

Spokane Youth Ballet at the Fox June 15



Spokane Youth Ballet's Summer Concert is an evening of two one-act ballets for audiences of all ages. First, the students of the Academy of Dance will perform 'The Seasons,' a charming love story set to the music of Alexander Glazunov. Next, the Youth Ballet will premiere 'Sleeping Rosa,' a contemporary ballet that reimagines the classic fairy tale of Sleeping Beauty set in Spanish Harlem. Performance is Saturday, June 15 at 7pm.
