Chihuly Exhibit going on now at the MAC



The Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture, in its first all-glass art exhibition, presents 'Luminous: Dale Chihuly and the Studio Glass Movement.' It features 33 internationally renowned studio glass artists including Dale Chihuly and his Laguna Murano Chandelier, considered one of his most important works. The exhibit is going on now through June 23.

Presentation on the Studio Glass Movement tomorrow at the MAC



The Early Years of the Studio Glass Movement, with speaker Richard Royal will be at the Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture, tomorrow, Thursday, March 28 at 6:30pm. Royal is a featured artist in the Museum's current exhibit 'Luminous: Dale Chihuly and the Studio Glass Movement', and is recognized as one of the most skilled and talented glass blowers in the American studio glass movement. He is best known for his large, abstract, blown shapes that often combine broad areas of complementary color. For this talk, Royal will discuss his experiences during the early years of the studio glass movement, and the interactions he has had with some of the pioneers of studio glass.

Taylor Dayne coming to the Bing April 5



The Bing Crosby Theater presents Taylor Dayne's 30th Anniversary Tell It To My Heart Tour, Friday, April 5 at 8pm. Disturbed coming to the Spokane Arena July 31



Disturbed with special guest In This Moment is coming to the Spokane Arena on Wednesday, July 31. Two-time Grammy nominees Disturbed are performing the second leg of their Evolution Tour, in support of new album Evolution, which hit No. 1 on Billboard's Top Alternative Albums and Top Rock Albums chart, as well as No. 4 on the Billboard 200.

The Indigo Girls coming to the Fox June 18



The Indigo Girls are returning to Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox to create their signature harmonies and dynamic soundscapes. Selling over 14 million records, the Indigo Girls are still going strong and are the only duo with top 40 titles on the Billboard 200 in the '80s, '90s, '00s and '10s. The concert is scheduled for Tuesday, June 18.
