Holiday Pops at the Fox December 22 & 23



Spokane Symphony's Holiday Pops is a seasonal tradition for the whole family. This year's holiday celebration will feature critically acclaimed soprano, Lisa Vroman, whose versatility allows her to move effortlessly from Broadway to opera to concert hall. Morihiko Nakahara conducts and the concert will also feature performances with the Spokane Symphony Chorale, Spokane Area Youth Choirs, and a very special out-of-town guest, Santa.

Keith LaMotte performs Saturday at the Bing

The Polar Express at the Garland Theater December 18



The Garland Theater will have a special showing of the children's classic, 'The Polar Express,' on Tuesday, December 18 at 7:15pm. This film takes place on Christmas Eve, when a young boy embarks on a magical adventure to the North Pole on the Polar Express, and learns about friendship, bravery, and the spirit of Christmas.

Spokane Symphony performs Beethoven's Ninth on New Year's Eve



Join the Spokane Symphony and Music Director, Eckart Preu, with the Spokane Symphony Chorale for Beethoven's Ninth Symphony at the Martin Woldson Theater at the Fox on Monday, December 31 at 7:30pm. This production will feature more than 150 performers on stage, including four guest vocalists and the Spokane Symphony Chorale, directed by Kristina Ploeger-Hekmatpanah.

Puttin' On The Ritz New Year's Eve Gala at the Davenport



After the Spokane Symphony's performance of Beethoven's Ninth, walk down the street to The Historic Davenport Hotel for Puttin' On The Ritz gala celebration to ring in the new year. This special event will be held in the Hall of Doges and Grand Pennington Ballroom, New Year's Eve, Monday, December 31, from 9pm-1am. The evening includes a 3-course dinner, plus salad and dessert at 9pm, three no host bars, and Entertainment provided by MasterClass Big Band on two large dance floors. Toast in the New Year at midnight with a glass of complimentary champagne and festive party favors, and more door prize drawings.

Sara Brown performs at Arbor Crest this Friday

This Friday, December 14 from 5:30-7:30pm in the Tasting Room, Sara Brown is guest performer, as part of the Fireside Music Series. Sara will be singing favorite classic R&B/Soul songs from the '60s and '70s. No cover charge.

John Sebastian coming to Chateau Rive January 18



John Sebastian, former member of The Lovin' Spoonful, and know for writing and performing the theme song to the hit TV show, 'Welcome Back Kotter' will have a special performance at Chateau Rive at the Flour Mill on Friday, January 18 at 8pm.

A Christmas with C S Lewis at the Bing December 13



A special performance of 'A Christmas with C S Lewis', starring David Payne will be a the Bing Crosby Theater, this Thursday, December 13 at 7pm.

The year is 1962 and C S Lewis, the famous British author, is in the twilight years of his life and has agreed to give an informal talk to a group of American writers who are visiting England over the Christmas season. They have come to Lewis' home, just outside of Oxford, and are eagerly anticipating hearing the man whose celebrity once landed him on the front cover of Time magazine. Lewis is in great form and his audience is spellbound as he recounts the significant events and people that shaped his life, his remarkable journey from atheism to Christianity and his reflections on the meaning of Christmas.
