Spokane Home & Garden Show this weekend



The Spokane Home Builders Association presents the Annual Spring Spokane Home & Garden Show will begin this Friday, April 13 and run through Sunday, April 15 at the Spokane Convention Center. The show focuses on building, renovation, landscaping, design and decor.

This year's show has over 350 booths showcasing the latest products and services for the home, enter to win great door prizes, see the latest trends and get expert advice on all your home remodeling, decorating or building needs. Exhibitors will be showcasing kitchens, room additions, windows, doors, sunrooms, fencing, spas, remodeling contractors, landscaping, decks, flooring, home security, basements, solar energy and much more.



Matt Blashaw, host of hit shows like DIY Network's Yard Crashers and HGTV's Vacation House for Free will present the seminar Dream It, Build It...Designing the Backyard of Your Dreams on both Saturday and Sunday at 1pm and 3pm. Matt will help you design your yard like a pro as well as give out his best backyard building tips to save time and money. Native of Orange County California, Matt is a licensed contractor and realtor and a DIY expert who takes a fearless approach to home renovation. If you're thinking about taking on a do-it-yourself project you won't want to miss this! Meet Matt after his seminar for pictures and a chance to ask him questions.

Show Hours are Friday noon-8pm, Saturday 10am-7pm, and Sunday 10am-5pm. Admission is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors & military, and kids 12 and under, free.

Also at the Home & Garden Show - Barrels & Brews this Friday



The Spokane Home Builders Association presents Barrels & Brews at the Spokane Home & Garden Show this Friday, April 13 at the Spokane Convention Center. This is a one night only event where you can browse hundreds of booths while enjoying wine or beer tastings located through the exhibit hall. Tickets for Barrels & Brews are $20 each and include admission to the Spokane Home & Garden Show (an $8 value), five beer or wine tastings, and a commemorative tasting glass.

Barrels & Brews runs from 4-8pm this Friday only. Tickets are available at www.ticketswest.com or 800-325-SEAT.


Spokane Symphony's Classics 9 - Love's Inspiration - this weekend



Join the Spokane Symphony, Conductor Eckart Preu, and Violinist Mateusz Wolski, as they explore works inspired by Love, including Schumann's Fourth Symphony, written for his wife, Clara. Other musical selections include Bach's Ouverture from Orchestral Suite No. 1, and Johannes Brahms' Violin Concerto, also inspired by Clara Schumann.

Performances are this Saturday, April 14 at 8pm and Sunday, April 15 at 3pm at the Martin Woldson Theater at the Fox.

The Great Ceramics Revival at the Art Spirit Gallery starting April 13



This Friday, April 13, from 5-8pm, The Art Spirit Gallery at 415 Sherman in downtown Coeur d'Alene celebrates the opening of a great ceramic revival showing twenty top regional clay artists. The show runs through Saturday, May 5.

Cirque du Soleil Crystal coming to Arena May 2-6



Cirque du Soleil is coming to the Spokane Arena with a brand-new arena creation. Cirque du Soleil's CRYSTAL, explores the artistic limits of ice for the first time in the company's 34-year history. This unique production combines stunning skating and acrobatic feats that defy the imagination. Volume 2018 coming June 1-2
