Mambo Kings perform with the Spokane Symphony this Saturday



Don't miss the Mambo Kings, as they perform with the Spokane Symphony at the Martin Woldson Theater at the Fox this Saturday, November 11 at 8pm. Morihiko Nakahara will conduct.

Formed in 1995, this top-notch Latin jazz ensemble is nationally recognized for their explosive blend of Afro Cuban rhythms and jazz improvisation. The Mambo Kings take you on an electrifying Latin jazz tour of the Americas with Brubeck's 'Blue Mambo a la Turk' and Tito Puente's 'Tres Lindas Cubanas.'

Sheila Evans and Elaine Green are featured artists this month at the Art Spirit Gallery



The Art Spirit Gallery at 415 Sherman in downtown Coeur d'Alene showcases new work from enamel artist Sheila Evans and charcoal artist Elaine Green this month. There's an Opening Reception this Friday, November 10 from 5-8pm and the show runs through November 25. Fall Gallery Hours are Tuesday through Saturday 9am-6pm.

A Christmas Carol coming to the Bing Nov 10-12



This Friday through Sunday, 'A Christmas Carol, the Musical' will have several performances at the Bing Crosby Theater. Don't miss Ebenezer Scrooge and the three ghosts of Christmas - past, present and future, in this delightful classic. Show times are Friday, November 10, 7pm, Saturday, November 11 at 3 and 7pm, and Sunday, November 12 at 3pm.

'In My Life' A Musical Theatre Tribute to The Beatles is this Friday, November 10, 7:30pm at The Fox. Take a magical musical tour through The Beatles' most iconic performances in a rock 'n' roll stage biography narrated from the unique point-of-view of longtime Beatles manager Brian Epstein.

Champions of Magic coming the Northern Quest Nov 12

Right, Left or Center, Political Humor is Coming to Spokane



Fox Presents two of the country's enduring mainstays of political humor in Spring 2018 at Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox: The Capitol Steps comedy troupe performs one show of their signature song parodies and satirical skits on March 15 at 7:30pm, and stand-up comedian Dennis Miller, famous for his role as 'Saturday Night Live's' anchorman on Weekend Update, plus his biting social and political satire, performs one show on April 6 at 8pm.

Tickets for both performances go on sale this Thursday, November 9 at 12:01am. Tickets available online at www.foxtheaterspokane.com and www.ticketswest.com. Tickets may also be purchased at the Box Office starting at 10am, or by calling 509-624-1200.

This week's music at Arbor Crest

Every Friday and Saturday, Arbor Crest's Fireside Music Series pairs no-cover live music with great wines, handcrafted beer, and great snacks. The Wine Bar is open every day from Noon to 5pm, and on Fireside evenings, they are open until 8pm, music runs from 5:30-7:30.

This weekend's guest performers are Jan Harrison Trio, playing jazz & blues on Friday, November 10 and Scott and Kevin from Spare Parts perform acoustic rock on Saturday, November 11.

10th Anniversary Celebration at the Fox this Sunday

The Spokane Symphony, owner and steward of the 1931 Art Deco treasure, has declared November 'Celebrate The Fox Month' in honor of the 10th anniversary of its restoration. From 1-3:30pm on Sunday, November 12, The Martin Woldson Theater at the Fox is open to the public for free to look around the beautiful architecture and murals, or take a 30-minute guided tour ($5) to hear about the theater's history and art, explore the lobby, mezzanine and lounges, and get a rare look at the stage and backstage areas.

NovemBEERfest coming to the Garland Theater this Saturday

The Garland Theater and Bon Bon present their 2nd Annual NovemBEERfest, this Saturday, November 11 at 8pm. Several local breweries will be on hand for you to enjoy a variety of brews, plus there will be raffle prizes, craft cocktails and live music. This year, the Garland is teaming up with the Spokane Beard and Mustache Club, and 100% of the entry fees will be donated to this year's sponsored charity: The Solution is Hours, feeding close to 1,000 meals to the underprivileged each month, along with providing hygiene and clothing.

TCM Big Screen Classics presents Casablanca - Nov 12 & 15

Turner Classic Movies and Fathom Events present classic films on the big screen. 'Casablanca' is the featured film this month, with special showings this Sunday, November 12 and Wednesday, November 15. Showtimes are at 2pm and 7pm at the following theaters:

Bach's Final Composition performed at St. John's Cathedral Nov 12

The epic 'Mass in B Minor' by Johann Sebastian Bach will be performed at the Cathedral of St John the Evangelist on Sunday, November 12 at 3pm by the Cathedral Kantorei Choir and Collegium Orchestra under the direction of Dr. Timothy Westerhaus, Music Director of the Cathedral.
