Carmen with the Spokane Symphony and Opera Coeur d'Alene Sept 22 & 23



Georges Bizet's Carmen is the story of the ultimate femme fatale. When the free-spirited seductress traps a soldier prone to jealousy and rage, the deadly spiral is inevitable. From the famous aria 'Habanera' to her character's untimely end, Metropolitan Opera star Sandra Piques Eddy's magnificent performance as Carmen is not one to miss. Eckart Preu conducts the Spokane Symphony.

Performances are Friday, September 22 at 8pm & Saturday, September 23 at 8pm at the Martin Woldson Theater at the Fox. This will be a truly special performance, teaming the Spokane Symphony with Opera Coeur d'Alene.

Earth, Wind & Fire coming to the INB Sept 23

Z Nation Season 4 Premiere Sept 29 at the Garland Theater



Join the Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture and Z Nation cast and crew members for this very special premiere party event on Friday, September 29 from 8-10pm at the Garland Theater, 924 W Garland Avenue. The premiere includes the opportunity to meet with attending cast and crew (with purchase of the $20 ticket option), followed by participating in the premiere screening of Z Nation's upcoming Season 4's Episode One. Episode One has been shot all over the museum's campus, including inside its historic home Campbell House.

The Z Nation television series, which is shown on the SYFY network, features several Spokane area talents from actors to extras to local filmmakers. Additionally, as the series is filmed predominately in and around Spokane, if you live in the area you cannot help but recognize many of the show's filming locations. Come celebrate the start of Season 4 of Spokane's first ever television series as well as support one of Spokane's revered community gathering places - The Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture.

This Thursday, September 14, singer/songwriter Dan Conrad will perform Folk Country Rock. Paul Kuhlmann will have his metal art on display. Music runs from 4:30-6:30, $5 cover charge.

And this Sunday, September 17, it's Rock 'n' Roll Sunday at Arbor Crest, with Bloodline performing (pictured above). Music runs from 4:30-Sunset, $10 admission.

Emerson Drive to Perform at CdA Casino Sept 22

Known for cranking out hits and putting on electrifying stage shows, Emerson Drive will rock the stage for special performance at Coeur d'Alene Casino on Friday, September 22.

The band's first two singles, 'I Should Be Sleeping' and 'Fall Into Me,' peaked in the Top 5 on the Billboard charts and quickly became fan favorites but it was the career-changing song 'Moments' that gave the band their first No. 1 single in the U.S.
