Vintage Spokane coming to the Davenport Grand July 23



This Sunday, July 23, Vintage Spokane, one of Spokane's most popular wine and food tasting events, will be at the Davenport Grand Hotel, beginning at 5pm. Enjoy tastings of premier wines and beers, from some of the region's top wineries, including Va Piano Vineyards, Frichette Winery, J. Bookwalter, L'Ecole No. 41, Robert Karl Cellars, Townshend Cellar and others - and sample delicious culinary options from award-winning local restaurants like Table 13, Post Street Ale House, Palm Court Grill, Safari Room and more. In addition, attendees will enjoy educational and entertaining presentations from wine and food experts, and more. More than 60 wineries and 10 restaurants will be featured.

Boz Scaggs & Michael McDonald coming to Northern Quest August 11



Famed guitarist and singer, Boz Scaggs has rocked the American music scene for more than 40 years. Known for solo hits like 'Lido Shuffle' and 'Lowdown', both from his chart-topping album Silk Degrees.

Joining Boz Scaggs is another longtime rock sensation, five-time Grammy award-winner Michael McDonald, who started his career as part of The Doobie Brothers in 1976. After leaving the group in 1982, he released his first solo album If That's What It Takes, featuring hit singles 'I Keep Forgettin (Every Time You're Near)' and 'I Gotta Try', co-written with Kenny Loggins. Michael collaborated throughout his career with other famed artists as well, including Van Halen, Aretha Franklin and Patti LaBelle.

Mozart in Manito tonight!

Connoisseur Concerts presents its annual Mozart on a Summer's Eve concert, with a final performance tonight, July 19, in Manito Park, on the lawn East of Duncan Gardens off Tekoa Street. This year marks the 27th year of Mozart on a Summer's Eve, and presents An Evening In Tuscany.

More Music in Manito!

This week's Free Friday concert is Paul Grove, who will perform at the Park Bench Cafe from 6-8pm this Friday, July 21. Great food, snacks and beverages available for purchase at the cafe, and No-Li will sell beer during concert hours.

2017 Spokane Brewers Festival coming Aug 4 & 5



The Spokane Brewers Festival in support of Feeding Washington will offer dozens of local craft breweries from Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho offering a great variety of handcrafted brews. The Festival features live music courtesy of The Inlander and an assortment of local food vendors. The River City Root Beer Garden will offer complimentary craft root beer for minors and designated drivers (admission is complimentary for designated drivers and minors). Minors are welcome at the Festival when accompanied by a legal guardian.

Festival Hours are Friday, August 4, Taps open from 4-8pm and Saturday, August 5, Taps open from 11am-8pm. Ticket and token sales close at 7:30pm each night. This event supports Feeding Washington, the statewide hunger-relief organization that helps the 1 in 7 people in Washington State who struggle with food insecurity.

This week's music and art at Arbor Crest



This Thursday, July 20, Karrie O'Neill will perform acoustic pop/folk at Arbor Crest's Pairings on the Patio. Paintings by artist Patti Simpson Ward and jewelry by Robin Alexander will be on display. Music runs from 5:30-7:30, $5 cover charge.

On Sunday, July 23, Concert on the Cliff will feature the Carrie Cunningham Band (pictured above), performing New Country/Americana. Described as a 'modern-day Bobby Gentry', Carrie has just released her fourth album, Secrets, an Americana story-telling collection of music. She will perform from 5:30 to sunset. $10 admission.

This week's free family movie at the Garland Theater is 'Trolls', which runs now through Friday, July 21.
