Crave NW June 15-18 at CenterPlace in Spokane Valley



Crave NW at Spokane Valley, the Inland Northwest's premier food and drink celebration, will be held June 15-18 at CenterPlace Regional Event Center in Spokane Valley. Presented by the City of Spokane Valley, Crave NW is a unique culinary event that will showcase the creative talents of visionary chefs from around the region and highlight the flavors of the great Northwest.

Internationally renowned chef Jeremiah Tower (pictured above) will be one of the special guest chefs at CRAVE NW. On Saturday, June 17 at 12 noon, a special screening of The Last Magnificent will be held in the CenterPlace auditorium. Produced by celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain, the documentary film explores the illustrious, mysterious and often controversial career of the outspoken chef Tower - an icon of 'California Cuisine' and a 'farm-to-table' dining pioneer. Following the screening, guests will have a chance to meet Chef Tower and receive a signed copy of his book Start the Fire: How I Began a Food Revolution in America. Tickets for the film screening are $50 and include a signed copy of Tower's book, as well as entrance to the CRAVE Grand Tasting event from 1 to 5pm.

CRAVE NW will feature 10+ tasting and workshop events highlighting local, regional and internationally recognized chefs, artisan food purveyors, wineries, breweries, distilleries and other craft-drink providers. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit cravenw.com.


Elkest coming this weekend to Browne's Addition

An Evening With David Archuleta June 12 at the Bing



American Idol sensation David Archuleta comes to the Bing Crosby Theater on Monday, June 12, 7:30pm. David was voted as runner up in the 2007 season of 'American Idol'.

The Davenport Grand Hotel Presents Vintage Spokane, July 23



Vintage Spokane, returns for its sixth year on Sunday, July 23, bringing more than 50 wineries and gourmet food to the luxurious Davenport Grand Hotel.

This year's Vintage Spokane will once again highlight the award-winning and up-and-coming wineries and restaurants throughout the Northwest, each offering samples of their incredible fare. Attendees will have the chance to sip wines from over 50 of the region's most celebrated wineries - including Va Piano Vineyards, Frichette Winery, J. Bookwalter, L'Ecole No. 41, Robert Karl Cellars and Townshend Cellar and others - and sample delicious culinary options from award-winning local restaurants like Table 13, Post Street Ale House, Palm Court Grill, Safari Room and more. In addition, there will be live cooking demos from top Northwest chefs and more.

Pride Parade in Downtown Spokane June 10

This year's Pride Parade will take place starting at the Riverfront Park Lilac Meadows at noon this Satuday, June 10. A rainbow festival opens immediately after the parade. Free Outdoor Summer Concert Series at Hotel Red Lion Spokane at the Park

Celebrate the summer at Hotel RL for their Free Outdoor Summer Concert Series. Experience the region's best bands while enjoying dinner on the Patio at The Dam Bar and Grill or sipping cocktails in a front row seat by the stage. Located in back of the hotel, just off Centennial Trail along the banks of the Spokane River. A great setting for music, food and fun.

Peter Rivera(Original Lead Drummer and Singer from Rare Earth) with the Stepbrothers will perform at the first concert, Friday, June 16 from 6-9pm. Stay tuned for more on this summer's concerts.
