Ring in the New Year with Beethoven and the Spokane Symphony

More than 140 musicians of the Spokane Symphony and Chorale celebrate New Year's Eve with a performance of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony. With Eckart Preu conducting, experience Beethoven's masterpiece, with its themes of joy and the brotherhood of man. Since Eckart Preu introduced the custom from his native Germany a few years ago, it has become an exciting part of the holiday festivities in Spokane. Beethoven's masterpiece, sometimes called the 'symphony of symphonies,' is considered by many to be the best and most joyous piece of music ever written.

The concert takes place Saturday, December 31 at 7:30pm at the Martin Woldson Theater at the Fox. For tickets and more information, visit www.spokanesymphony.org. Tickets are also available at www.ticketswest.com or 800-325-SEAT.
