Chef's Week PNW coming March 30-April 2



Chef's Week Pacific NW will bring 15 chefs from around the region together to collaborate on delicious meals and hors d'oeuvres at the Washington Cracker Co. Building, 304 W Pacific in Spokane. Chefs Aaron Crumbaugh and Jeremy Hansen created Chef's Week PNW to help grow Spokane's food culture and celebrate local talent. Chefs from all over the Pacific NW will come to Spokane and partner with local chefs to share techniques and ideas with attendees.

This event runs Wednesday, March 30 through Saturday, April 2. This is a unique event and is sure to have something for everyone, great food, a craft beer day, local distillery day, wine tasting day, homebrew competition, coffee roasting demonstration, wine pairings and collaboration dinners and much, much more. For the finale, 15 chefs will work together to prepare an 8-course meal on Saturday.

42nd Street this Thursday through Sunday at the INB

The quintessential backstage musical comedy classic, 42nd Street comes to the INB Perforning Arts Center this Thursday, March 24 through Sunday, March 27.

42nd Street is the song and dance story of an American Dream to star on Broadway and includes some of the greatest songs ever written, such as 'We're In The Money,' 'Lullaby of Broadway,' 'I Only Have Eyes For You' and of course '42nd Street.' It tells the story of a starry-eyed young dancer, Peggy Sawyer, who leaves her small town home and comes to New York to audition for the new Broadway musical. When the star breaks her ankle, Peggy takes over and becomes a star.

The laughter continues at Spokane Comedy Club



That laughter you hear is coming from the all new Spokane Comedy Club at 315 West Sprague. Free Open Mic every Wednesday night at 8. And award winning comedians every week like Kermit Apio this Friday, March 25 at 8pm and Saturday, March 26 at 8 and 10:30pm.

This week's live music at Arbor Crest

Arbor Crest's Fireside Music series continues and featured artist is Bill Bozly, playing his bluesy folk/rock music this Thursday, March 24 and soft rock band Square Parts will be playing old favorites on Friday, March 25. Music runs from 5:30-7:30 both nights, and the wine tasting room is open from 5-8. Wine, beer and food available for purchase.

Spokane Symphony presents Genius Evolution, at the Fox April 2 & 3

Enjoy the musical genius of Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No.1 as the Spokane Symphony celebrates the Genius Evolution, with Eckart Preu conducting. Other musical selections include Anton Bruckner's Symphony No. 6 and Osvaldo Golijov's shimmering Sidereus (starry messenger).

Performances are Saturday, April 2 at 8pm and Sunday, April 3 at 3pm. Guests can attend a free pre-concert talk with conductor and guest artist one hour before each performance.

Secret research is being leaked to Moscow, and Hapgood is the person to find out if it's a double agent or a triple agent.
