CdA Symphony Young Artist Winners concert tonight & tomorrow

Seven extremely talented young musicians from across the country are the featured artists on the program for the Coeur d'Alene Symphony's annual Young Artist Winners concert 'Realm of Champions', tonight and Saturday, March 11 & 12 at the Coeur d'Alene Kroc Center.

The pieces and their performers are:
Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso by Camille Saint-Saens - Sarah Hall, Violin
V'Adoro Pupil from Julius Caesar by George Frideric Handel & Padre germani! Addio from Idomeneo by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - Sarah Cooper, Soprano
Piano Concerto Movement I by Robert Schumann - Edison Tsai, Piano
Piano Concerto No. 2 Movement III by Camille Saint-Saens - Brenda Miller, Piano
Flute Concerto Movement III by Jacques Ibert - Laura Pillman, Flute
E Strano from La Traviata by Guiseppe Verdi - Tasha Koontz, Soprano
Carmen Fantasie by Franz Waxman - Yesong Sophie Lee, Violin

The 'Realm of Champions' performance times are tonight at 7:30 and Saturday at 2pm at the Salvation Army CDA Kroc Center Auditorium, 1765 W. Golf Course Rd in Coeur d'Alene. Tickets are $27 for adults, $21 for Seniors and $10 for students, and available by phone at 208-660-2958, or online at www.cdasymphony.org.
