Spokane Symphony's The Nutcracker at The Fox Dec 3-6

Don't miss this year's production of 'The Nutcracker' with the Spokane Symphony. For the past 37 years, the Spokane Symphony has been collaborating with acclaimed ballet companies and the local dance community to present Spokane's own local production of 'The Nutcracker Ballet.' For this year's production, held at the Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox, they are working with the critically-acclaimed State Street Ballet and 75 local dancers, with vocals by Canterbury Belles from Ferris High School. The Spokane Symphony will be under the direction of Resident Conductor Morihiko Nakahara.

'The Nutcracker,' set to the music of Tchaikovsky, is the story of young Clara, who is presented with a beautiful toy nutcracker during a holiday party by her godfather. That night, the toy comes to life in Clara's holiday dream. Opulent stage sets, a gorgeous gigantic Christmas tree, and hundreds of colorful costumes will provide a beautiful setting for the Show.

Performances are this Thursday, December 3 at 7:30 pm; Friday, December 4 at 7:30 pm; Saturday, December 5 at 2 pm and 7:30 pm; and Sunday, December 6 at 2 pm. Tickets available at the Box Office, by calling 509-624-1200 and at www.ticketswest.com or 800-325-SEAT.
