Premier Home Improvement show this weekend



This Friday, April 10 through Sunday, April 12 the Spokane Home Builders Association presents the Premier Home Improvement Show at the fairgrounds. This 16th annual show features over 200 vendors showcasing the latest in home remodeling and improvement. Admission is $8 for adults, children 12 and under are free. New Exhibit at The Art Spirit Gallery

A homecoming show with Ryan Keberle and his band Catharsis



Friends of The Bing present a homecoming performance by Spokane native, Mead High School graduate, and world-renowned jazz musician, Ryan Keberle, and his band Catharsis, this Friday, April 10, 7:30pm at the Bing Crosby Theater.

Hailed by The New York Times as "a young trombonist of vision and composure", few musicians have managed to navigate the richly varied avenues of New York City's abundant music scene with the same passion and adaptability as trombonist and composer Ryan Keberle. Since moving to New York City from Spokane in 1999, Keberle's diverse talents have earned him a place alongside a staggering array of legends, superstars, and up-and-coming innovators including David Bowie, Wynton Marsalis, Sufjan Stevens, Maria Schneider, and Alician Keys.

Local group, the Brent Edstrom Trio, consisting of Brent Edstrom, Eugene Jablonsky, and Rick Westrick will open for Catharsis.

Harry Connick, Jr. coming to the INB July 20



Following a successful winter tour and his second season as a judge on 'American Idol,' Harry Connick, Jr. announced today a 20+ city summer concert tour including a stop at the INB Performing Arts Center on Monday, July 20. The show will feature music from Connick's vast musical catalog, including songs from his most recent releases 'Smokey Mary' and 'Every Man Should Know.' Connick has released 29 albums, won three Grammy Awards and two Emmy Awards, and garnered sales of 28 million albums.

Jazz at the Left Bank



The Lovely Jazz Songstress, Rachel Aldridge and guitar great Nick Schauer will be performing at the Left Bank tomorrow night, Thursday, April 9 from 7 to 10. The Left Bank Wine Bar, at 108 N Washington, is a cool place for jazz. Come enjoy some gourmet pizza and a varied selection of Northwest wines and craft beers with the music.

A memorable music benefit for Mike Lenke



The stars are coming out to the Bing Crosby Theater for incredible Spokane trumpeter Mike Lenke, in a benefit performance, Sunday, April 19 at 6pm. Mike has been having some serious health issues and his fellow musicians have come together for a memorable benefit performance.

Peter Rivera, Kathleen Cavender, Nichole Lewis, Robert Vaughn, Sammy Eubanks, Pat Barclay, Chris Reser, Abbey Crawford, Dave Green, and the Master Class Big Band under the direction of Mark Lee Stephens will perform. Tickets are $20 at the door.

NQ's Pepsi Outdoor Summer Concert Series shows announced



Northern Quest has announced this year's shows for the 5th Annual Pepsi Outdoor Summer Concert Series and tickets go on sale this Friday, April 10. GU's Senior Art Exhibition



Gonzaga University's Senior Art Exhibition opens Friday, April 17 with a free public reception from 7-9pm at the Jundt Art Museum. This annual presentation, which highlights the work of Gonzaga's graduating seniors, marks the culmination of the Gonzaga art department's Bachelor of Arts degree program.

Participating seniors are required to submit a portfolio of work and share responsibilities for all aspects of the exhibition. A selection of prints, ceramics, paintings, drawings, and sculpture will be displayed in the Jundt Galleries from April 18 through May 9 (graduation weekend). A free public walk-through with the artists will begin at 10:30am on Saturday, April 18.

The Inlander's Volume 2015 will feature 90+ acts



This year, The Inlander brings more bands than ever to its Volume 2015 lineup, with 90-plus acts performing at eight different venues across downtown Spokane come May 29-30. This year's venues are The Bartlett, nYne, Mootsy's, Red Room Lounge, the Pin, Big Dipper, Neato Burrito and Irv's.

It's that time of the year again! Ben & Jerry's Scoop Shop at River Park Square will host Free Cone Day next Tuesday, April 14 from 12-8pm to benefit Embrace Washington. The annual celebration is a way for the company to celebrate and say thank you for another year of support.

SPR Goes To The Movies With 2001: A Space Odyssey

Spokane Public Radio and Friends of the Bing present '2001: A Space Odyssey' on Wednesday June 17, 6pm at the Bing Crosby Theater in downtown Spokane. SPR's Jim Tevenan will host and the Movies 101 crew will open with a discussion of Director Stanley Kubrik's films, followed by a presentation of his 1968 classic, '2001: A Space Odyssey'. Critics have repeatedly called Space Odyssey a visual spectacle that needs to be seen on the big screen.

Women's Show this Friday & Saturday

The 2015 Women's Show is this Friday and Saturday, April 10 & 11 at the Spokane Convention Center. This is the 10th Annual Show, and there will be informative presentations focusing on health, fashion and beauty, lectures, exhibits, live music and lots of entertainment. Title Nine will present a fashion show and there will be a wine, craft beer and cider tasting and lots more.

Hours are Friday 4 to 9pm and Saturday, 10am to 6pm. Tickets will be available at the door, or at Ticketswest.com.

Experience TLC's Long Island Medium In Spokane June 13

Long Island's favorite medium is coming to the Spokane Arena on Saturday, June 13. Theresa Caputo, from TLC's hit show, Long Island Medium, will give interactive readings to audience members throughout the show and will also share personal stories about her life and her unique gifts.
