The Spokane Symphony tonight at Arbor Crest!



Tonight at 7 pm, enjoy the sounds of the Spokane Symphony with conductor Eckart Preu for Soiree on the Edge on the lawns of Arbor Crest Wine Cellars. Tonight's concert features Beethoven's iconic Symphony No. 5, in the perfect outdoor setting.

Tickets for lawn seating are $20 and available ath the Box Office of Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox, 1001 West Sprague Avenue or by calling 509-624-1200. Tickets are also available at the concert.


Come meet 'The Addams Family.' We'll leave the lights off for you!



This is the last weekend to see the Coeur d'Alene Summer Theatre's production of 'The Addams Family' at the Kroc Center, 1765 W. Golf Course Road (just off Ramsey Road). CST's is the very first professional regional production of this hilarious new musical. With a toe-tapping score from Andrew Lippa ('You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown,' 'The Wild Party'), and the familiar cast of unforgettable characters, 'The Addams Family' will make you laugh, laugh and laugh - and maybe learn a bit about what it means to be a family.

Powwow this weekend in Riverfront Park



The Gathering at the Falls Powwow is a wonderful showcase of Native American culture with dance, drums, food and entertainment held in the Lilac Bowl in Riverfront Park. It's free and starts this Friday, August 22 night at 7 with the Grand Entry and runs through Sunday.


Learn to play at Community Music Day, this Saturday



Learn to play at Community Music Day is this Saturday, August 23 from 10 to 4 pm at Holy Names Music Center at Mukogawa Fort Wright. It's a full day of music and fun with free music lessons for all ages and abilities. Go to hnmc.org for a schedule of events.

This week's free concerts in Manito and Riverfront Park

This summer's free concert series in Manito Park and Riverfront Park ends this week, so enjoy the final week of great outdoor music, starting tonight.

The Fountain Cafe in Riverfront Park, tonight from 6-8pm.

The Manito Park Bench Cafe, this Friday, August 22 from 6-8 pm, features music by Just Plain Darin.

Great food and beverages available for purchase at both cafes, including beer and wine during the concerts.

Fall Winemaker's dinner at the Lincoln Center September 12

Thurston Wolfe winery, located in Prosser, Washington, will be the featured winemaker at a special dinner Friday, September 12 starting at 6pm, at The Lincoln Center, presented by the Connoisseur's Club.

Thurston Wolfe winery specializes in smaller-lot production wines sourced from the premium vineyards of Washington State. The dinner includes 5 wines otherwise not available to the general public, paired with a special dinner created by Executive Chef Steve Jensen and his culinary team.

The evening begins with a sparkling wine social and includes wine-themed door prizes. Advance ticket purchase is recommended as seating is limited. Tickets are $55 per person, which includes tax. Jennifer Nettles Concert at INB Time Change

Jennifer Nettles will perform at the INB Performing Arts Center on Sunday, September 7 as part of her 2014 'That Girl' Tour with Brandy Clark. For all those attending the concert, note the change in start time. Doors will open at 6:00pm and the concert will start at 7:00pm.
