'Singin' in the Rain' at the Bing

Chautauqua (Chaw-talk-wa) at the Bing Sunday



This Sunday, August 3, at the Bing at 7pm it's the New Old Time Chautauqua two hour vaudeville show featuring nationally known and talented up and coming performers. The vaudeville extravaganza, the only remaining touring Chautauqua in the U.S., features the Flying Karamazov Brothers, who first performed under that name right here in Spokane during Expo '74. The Fighting Instruments of Karma band will also take the stage by storm, and magician Joey Pipia will captivate you. Proceeds benefit KYRS community radio. Rockin' out at Northern Quest with Foreigner, Styx and Loverboy



It's going to be rockin' at 7 pm Sunday, as Northern Quest's Outdoor Summer concert series presents Foreigner, Styx and Loverboy. Art on the Green and more this weekend in Coeur d'Alene

Join in the celebration of art, creativity and friendship at the 46th Annual Art on the Green this Friday through Sunday August 1st, 2nd & 3rd in Coeur d'Alene. A marketplace, performance space and a gathering place for friends and families, this yearly event is the highlight of the summer in Coeur d'Alene.

Art on the Green is held at the old Fort Sherman Grounds on the North Idaho College Campus, just a short walk from Downtown and City Park. Shuttle bus service to the west side of the NIC campus from downtown is also available during the festival.

Plus, downtown in the Lake City it's the 2014 Street Fair Friday through Sunday with over 250 vendors, daily entertainment, food, fine art, crafts, and more. This weekend there is also Taste of the CdA's in Coeur d'Alene park. There's a free shuttle bus between A Taste of the CdA's, Art on the Green and the downtown Street Fair.


'A Midsummer Night's Dream'

Free concert Thursday at Audubon Park



Spokane's Men of Rhythm will be playing a free concert Thursday night August 7th in Audubon Park in northwest Spokane from 6:30 - 8:30pm.

Sunsets and Serenades: Soiree on the Edge at Arbor Crest

Join the Spokane Symphony at Arbor Crest Wine Cellars for this year's Soiree on the Edge concert series. Wednesday, August 13 & Wednesday, August 20. Both performances start at 7pm. The Symphony will serenade listeners as they picnic on the grounds of Arbor Crest.

Tickets are $40 for table seating or $20 for general admission. Call the Box Office at Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox at 509-624-1200. Free Friday summer concert series continues at the Manito Park Bench Cafe

This Friday, August 1, enjoy the music of Kevin Schibel from 6-8pm. Great food, beverages and wine & beer are available for purchase during the concert. The Park Bench cafe is open until 8pm on concert evenings. Regular hours are 8am to 7pm, seven days a week.

The Fountain Cafe has great music tonight and a special dining event this Friday

Today's Free concert at Riverfront Park Fountain Cafe is from 6-8pm, Liz Rognes will perform a free concert. Join the fun!

And for a really grand way to celebrate First Friday, the Fountain Cafe along with Sante Restaurant will have a very special dinner this Friday, August 1 with proceeds benefitting Spokane's Salvation Army. Enjoy a 6-course dinner created by Sante chef and owner Jeremy Hansen. There will be live music and wines by Overbluff Cellars.

Another great weekend at the Rockin' B Ranch!

Come join the fun, great music & great food at the Rockin' B Ranch as they celebrate their 20th Anniversary of Cowboy Supper shows! The Riders of the Rockin' B have reunited for special shows in August, September & October. August shows are scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, August 9, 10, & 11. They'll be serving up their famous barbecue dinner, and have revived the original shoot-out!

Upcoming shows this season are September 12-13, and October 10-11. If you want a really great fiddlin' and rockin' time, go see the Riders of the Rockin' B!

Jonny Lang performs at the Bing August 7



Blues guitarist Jonny Lang and the Runaway Saints will perform at the Bing Crosby Theater Thursday, August 7 at 8pm. Lang shared the stage with legendary artists like The Rolling Stones, B.B. King, Aerosmith, Sting, and Buddy Guy, who he continues to tour with today. He'll be performing songs from his new album, 'Fight for my Soul'.

Greater Spokane Meals on Wheels has Free Ice Cream!



This Friday, August 1 from 10am to 2pm is Free ice cream day! Greater Spokane County Meals on Wheels will be serving up ice cream at their Silver Cafe, 4803 N Nevada. Donations gladly accepted to benefit Spokane County Meals on Wheels.

Spokane Meals On Wheels provides hot, delivered meals to the frail elderly and homebound in Spokane County. They service over 400 homes daily on 40 routes and the need is still increasing. Their service area will soon increase to 42 routes that rely daily on volunteer drivers. They also operate 13 senior meal sites, and a Silver Cafe. Services cost $3.50 daily, but meals are provided regardless of their client's ability to pay. For more information, call 509-924-6976.
