First Food Truck Palooza is this Sunday



Don't miss this first annual event Sunday, July 20 from 3:30-7pm. Great food trucks from the area will be located at Luigi's Italian restaurant parking lot, 225 E Main at Browne in downtown Spokane.

With ticket purchase, you'll get to sample from all the food trucks at no extra cost. Live music with HOT 96.9 DJ Mayhem. Beer garden for attendees 21 and over. Non-alcoholic beverages are also available for purchase.

General admission Tickets are $15. VIP tickets are $25 and include early entry at 2pm, 2 beer tokens & VIP swag bag. Kids age 5 and under free. Tickets available at NWFoodTruckPalooza.com.

Raku Mosaic Workshop at the ClayFox Clay School



The ClayFox Clay School is offering a class on making mosaics, a little bit differently, with Guest Instructor Liz Bishop. It's Tuesday July 22 and July 29 at 6:30 pm. Each participant will actually create flat clay pieces that fit into a round disc then in the second session they will raku them! Don't worry, no clay experience necessary. It's all in fun, but you'll be surprised at what you'll create.

Bozzi Media presents a Gatsby Style party with a Roaring 20s theme on the breathtaking grounds of Arbor Crest Winery Friday, July 25 for 5 to 10 pm. Great food, wine and games, including a Scavenger Hunt from Tracy Jewelers and a great getaway from Mercedes-Benz of Spokane, as well as art and classic cars. First Friday Dinner Concert in Riverfront Park August 1

Continuing the 40th Anniversary celebration of Expo and this month's first Friday, there will be a very special six course dinner in Riverfront Park at The Fountain Cafe, with great music to match on Friday, August 1 from 5:30-8:30pm.

The dinner, created by Sante chef and owner Jeremy Hansen, will be a 6-course meal paired with wine from Spokane's Overbluff Cellars. Traditional Irish music will be performed by Floating Crowbar.

Tickets are $100 each and are available at Riverfront Park Guest Services, 509-625-6601. Seating is limited, must be 21 years of age or older. Proceeds benefit Spokane's Salvation Army.

Summer encore performance of Avenue Q at Lake City Playhouse

Lake City Playhouse, 1320 E. Garden in Coeur d'Alene, presents a special summer encore performance of Avenue Q, July 25 through August 9.

This laugh out loud musical tells the story of Princeton who moves into a shabby New York apartment way out on Avenue Q, not your ordinary neighborhood. Princeton and his newfound friends struggle to find jobs, dates and their ever elusive purpose in life. (Contains adult themes and content and may not be suitable for all audience members).

Spokane Scottish Highland Games, August 2nd



The Spokane Highland Games will be held on Saturday, August 2 from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm at the Spokane County Fair and Expo Center, 404 N. Havana. This Scottish festival celebrates the traditions of Highland dance, bagpipe band exhibitions and Heavy Athletic competitions.
