Coeur d'Alene Blues Festival features Curtis Salgado

The 2014 Coeur d'Alene Blues Festival is Friday and Saturday, March 28 & 29, at the Coeur d'Alene Resort featuring Curtis Salgado, Randy Oxford, Big Mumbo Blues Band, Sammy Eubanks and more! Pink Tie Guys Night at the Movies March 29

Mark your calendars! Saturday, March 29 at the Garland Theater. Join the Susan G. Komen 'Pink Tie Guys' as they host a great night at the movies. All proceeds benefit the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Eastern Washington. The movie is 'Bridesmaids' the hilarious comedy starring Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy and Maya Rudolph.

The Inlander's 21st Annual Best of the Inland Northwest Readers Poll results issue will be released on Thursday. This year thousands of Inlander readers cast their vote for the Best of the Inland Northwest, in categories from food and nightlife, people, outdoors, art and shopping.

Four new local people, businesses, and organizations will be inducted into the Best of The Inland Northwest Hall of Fame - a special honor bestowed to those who have been voted No. 1 in a 'Best Of' category for 10 years by Inlander readers. The Hall of Fame is a testament to the longevity and popularity of these winners who consistently exceed our community's highest standards.

The Inlander's Best of the Inland Northwest Readers Poll was the original readers poll in the region. The 2014 Best Of poll received the largest number of votes ever in the Inlander's history and continues to be the largest survey of its kind in the Inland Northwest.

'Suds', the rocking 60s musical soap opera is at the Firth J. Chew Studio Theatre at Civic now through April 13. A Night with the Spokane Symphony at Mirabeau Park Hotel

The Spokane Symphony is taking the show on the road to perform 'A Night with the Spokane Symphony' at the Spokane Valley Mirabeau Park Hotel on Wednesday, March 26 at 7 pm. Enjoy delicious cuisine with wine pairings while listening to the Symphony perform American classics and music from the movies in the hotel's elegant ballroom.

'New Digs for Cool Pigs' at Ferris Ham on Regal

It's Ham on Regal time at Ferris High School next week, with performances of New Digs for Cool Pigs running Sunday March 23 through Saturday March 29. Besides being great, fun entertainment, the Ham on Regal shows raise about $100,000 a year for Ferris High School.

Organizers of the Diamond Cup hydroplane races on Lake Coeur d'Alene are planning another race for this Labor Day weekend. Sister Act coming to the INB March 27-30

'Sister Act' is Broadway's feel-amazing musical comedy smash that The New York Post calls "Ridiculously Fun." It is coming to the INB Performing Arts Center for six performances March 27 through 30. The show features original music by 8-time Oscar winner Alan Menken ('Beauty and the Beast,' 'The Little Mermaid,' 'Little Shop of Horrors').

Downriver and Esmeralda golf courses are now open for the season, with Qualchan opening today at 9:00 am. Indian Canyon still has ice that needs to melt, but plans to open no later than a week from Friday.
