The 2014 Coeur d'Alene Blues Festival is Friday and Saturday, March 28 & 29, at the Coeur d'Alene Resort featuring Curtis Salgado, Randy Oxford, Big Mumbo Blues Band, Sammy Eubanks and more! There's a boat cruise on Friday, and five great bands in the convention center ballroom starting at 4 pm Saturday with continuous music until midnight.

 Pink Tie Guys Night at the Movies March 29

Four new local people, businesses, and organizations will be inducted into the Best of The Inland Northwest Hall of Fame - a special honor bestowed to those who have been voted No. 1 in a 'Best Of' category for 10 years by Inlander readers. The Hall of Fame is a testament to the longevity and popularity of these winners who consistently exceed our community's highest standards.
The Inlander's Best of the Inland Northwest Readers Poll was the original readers poll in the region. The 2014 Best Of poll received the largest number of votes ever in the Inlander's history and continues to be the largest survey of its kind in the Inland Northwest.

It's Ham on Regal time at Ferris High School next week, with performances of New Digs for Cool Pigs running Sunday March 23 through Saturday March 29. Besides being great, fun entertainment, the Ham on Regal shows raise about $100,000 a year for Ferris High School.

City golf courses are open this week!
Downriver and Esmeralda golf courses are now open for the season, with Qualchan opening today at 9:00 am. Indian Canyon still has ice that needs to melt, but plans to open no later than a week from Friday.
