He also has a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, has been inducted into the Big Band and Jazz Hall of Fame, was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers, and is a Kennedy Center Honoree.

Lotsa Laughs & free pizza at Bada Bing! Saturday night

The Bada Bing! Comedy Series is this Saturday night, June 15 at 8 at the Bing Crosby Theater, with 3 award-winning professional comedians...Dwight Slade, Kelsey Cook and Kane Holloway.

Dwight Slade was Winner of the prestigious 2008 Boston Comedy Festival. He has done movie and television work including appearances on TBS' The Very Funny Show and his own episode of Comedy Dot TV. He also makes regular appearances on the Bob & Tom radio show. Slade was chosen to appear on HBO's Best of the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival and has made an appearance on Comedy Central's Premium Blend.

Kelsey Cook is a recent WSU graduate. She started with aspirations of becoming a high school math teacher. She later switched to a Broadcast Production major and began doing improv and stand up. She produced a comedy show that she headlined weekly in addition to hosting and writing her own late-night television show on KWSU-8. She's won Washington State University's 'Last Coug Standing' competition, the Renton Comedy Competition, the Key Peninsula Comedy Competition, and was runner up in the Hollywood Comedy Competition. Cook was also selected to perform in the She-Devil Comedy Festival in New York City, where she entertained crowds at several 'Best of the Fest' shows. You can see why she's been called 'the next Chelsea Handler' by her mother. After graduation in 2012, she relocated to Seattle where she continues to impress by winning competitions and touring the country.

Kane Holloway is a Seattle favorite who has performed everywhere from bars and concert halls, to comedy clubs and casinos. Kane got his start in comedy at age 17 at a Borders Books open mic, where he was not welcomed back. At age 21 Kane gave it another shot at Giggles Comedy Club infamous Sunday open mic. Four years later Kane is now a touring comic and a Northwest house hold name. Kane has been featured on the 'Just Another Hangover Tour,' and the 'Keeping Our Day Jobs College Tour.'

Kane is a lefty, who lets the crowd know his fear of being a 25 year old balding divorced man that loves movies but hates dumb girls. You get the feeling that Kane is having a conversation with the crowd, rather than reciting an act. In 2011 Kane won the 'Mt. Rainier Comedy Cage Match,' and has since recorded his first CD at Tacoma Comedy Club entitled; 'Kane Holloway: Testing Your Faith.' Kane has opened for Owen Smith from Everybody Hates Chris, David Allen Grear from In Living Color, and Bobby Slayton from Family Guy.

Reserved seat Tickets are once again only $15 and are on sale at all TicketsWest outlets, at www.ticketswest.com or 800-325-SEAT. The show is not recommended for children. Beer and wine are available.

This show is also sponsored by Fire Artisan Pizza, 816 West Sprague, which is offering one (1) pepperoni pizza to every Bada Bing! ticket holder. Bring your ticket stub in to their restaurant, Sunday through Thursday, up to 30 days after the show, to redeem your free pizza!
