'Heartsongs from the Edge of the World'

'Heartsongs' is at the Bing Crosby Theater this Friday, October 12 with an auction at 5:30pm and the show at 6:30pm. This is an annual event of original performances by homeless and formerly homeless families presented by P.o.P Ministries (People of the Promise) developed as the 'creative outreach' of Covenant Christian with the goal of providing musical and performing arts opportunities for those who are living in poverty. There is no charge for the event but donations are gladly accepted.

Pizza Pipeline Opens New Location with Bar Concept

Since 1988, Pizza Pipeline has been known for great pizza and subs ready to pick up or delivered right to your door. And now, customers will be able to dine in and enjoy their favorite beer, wine and spirits along with their pizza and subs at The Bar @ Pizza Pipeline. This new bar is located at 1403 N. Division, next door to an established Pizza Pipeline. The newly designed space features seating for 81, a large garage door that will be open when weather permits, 9 TVS and full bar, over 50 beers from which to choose with 20 beers on tap.

'Malika, Queen of the Cats' at the JACC.

Tears of Joy Puppet Theatre presents 'Malika, Queen of the Cats' at the Jacklin Arts and Cultural Center, 405 N William Street in Post Falls. The show is this Friday, October 12 at 5:30pm. There will also be a puppet making workshop at 4:30. This exciting new play uses a traditional Palestinian fairy tale to introduce students to Middle Eastern culture and the power of giving to others. Children will learn to enjoy the magic of world-class live puppetry, discover the rich cultures and perspectives of the Middle East, including original music, costume and dance. As well as learn the importance of generosity, community and responsibility.

'Incorruptible' lights the Dark Ages with humor at Interplayers

The antics of larcenous monks in Dark Ages France will provide sinfully funny pleasures when Interplayers Theatre offers up the comedy 'Incorruptible,' October 25 - November 10. Local theatre favorite Patrick Treadway is directing the production. Performances are October 25, 26, 27, 31, November 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, 9 and 10 at 7:30pm and October 28, November 3, 4 and 10 at 2pm. NW Opera presents '4th Time's A Charm'

NorthWest Opera's Fall show, '4th Time's A Charm' will be presented on October 26th and 27th at 7:30pm and on November 4 at 2:00pm at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 2715 S. Ray Street in Spokane.

Featuring 27 local singers, professional, semi-professional and amateur, and directed by Tim Campbell, the program features songs from operetta to opera, from the Broadway stage to the silver screen and will entertain all ages.
