Broadway comes to Coeur d'Alene tonight!

The Cobra Polo Classic benefitting Ronald McDonald House Charities of Spokane is Sunday, September 9th, less than 2 months away. Calling all artists, non-profits, craft and food vendors, Judy Garland impersonators and classic car owners. Garland Street is prepping for 10th Annual Street Fair August 11, and the planning committee is currently accepting applications and inquiries from local artists, crafters, food vendors and non-profits who would like to participate in this full-day event. Saturday, August 11th, 2012 will mark the 10th Annual Garland Street Fair, spread over two blocks of the historic Garland District, an all day family event featuring food, live music and entertainment, art, crafts, car show and activities for all ages. Per tradition, the Garland Street Fair will be a tribute to Judy Garland and The Wizard of Oz.

Over 20,000 people attended the Garland Street Fair in 2011. This turnout is expected to increase this year.

Free Music at Manito

The Free Summer Concert Series continues at the Manito Park Bench Cafe this Friday, July 20, featuring the music of singer/songwriter Maxie Ray Mills. Broad Comedy at the Bing

The Bing Crosby Performing Arts Center presents Katie Goodman's hilarious live comedy show 'Broad Comedy' on August 24 at 8:00pm.

Katie Goodman is an award-winning musical comic, actress, author, creative coach, and social activist. She has written for O, The Oprah Magazine and is the author of Improvisation For The Spirit. She is the creator and headliner of 'Broad Comedy,' an internationally touring satirical musical show that she and her husband Soren Kisiel write and direct. Katie and Soren were nominated for the MacArthur Foundation Genius Grant for their extensive work in theater, and were also nominated for The EPIC Award from The White House Project for emerging artists. Katie Goodman is the daughter of Pulitzer Prize winning columnist Ellen Goodman.
