Special Edition, Thursday, March 22, 2012 Queen Latifah Event Cancelled Tonight
The YWCA of Spokane announced today that due to a family medical emergency, Queen Latifah has had to cancel her appearance in Spokane, scheduled at the INB Performing Arts Center tonight, March 22.
All ticket holders will receive a full refund of their ticket price and fees. If you purchased on-line or used a credit card, the refund will happen automatically.
If tickets were purchased at an outlet or at the box office, the tickets will be refunded through the Arena box office at 720 W. Mallon in Spokane.
The event was a fundraiser for the critical programs of the YWCA of Spokane, programs that support women in crisis and women working to become self-sufficient. These programs are under financial strain right now and have faced increasing budget cuts in these tough economic times. Anyone who would like to support these programs can make a donation directly to the YWCA by going to www.ywcaspokane.org. Donations made directly to the YWCA are tax deductible.
