Disney on Ice 'Toy Story 3' on sale

Disney On Ice presents Disney-Pixar's 'Toy Story 3' is bringing the Academy Award-winning blockbuster, 'Toy Story 3', and memorable moments from 'Toy Story' and 'Toy Story 2' to the ice in this sensational all-new ice spectacular that comes to Spokane Thursday, Dec. 1 through Sunday, Dec. 4. for 7 performances at Spokane Arena. BeGin at the MAC this Friday

Go to the MAC this Friday, October 14 for a special BeGin. Catch the sneak preview of three new Art Exhibitions, Seeing Impressionism: Europe, America and the Northwest; Need|Want: Matters of Priority; and Territory: Generational Triptychs. Live music, no host bar and snacks. Runs fromm 6 to 9pm. No charge(donation only).

Art Walk and more in the Lake City

This Friday, October 14 is Art Walk in Coeur d' Alene, and the Art Spirit Gallery at 415 Sherman, hosts a reception for Victoria Brace from 5 to 8 pm. The Brace show is up through November 5. She is well renowned for her portraits but she also has some wonderful paintings of Spokane scenes. On Saturday the gallery presents 'Art in the Making' from 1-4 in the CdA Plaza Shops. One Hot recording session

Hot Club of Spokane will stage a live recording session, open to the public, at the Glover Mansion on Thursday evening, October 27th, at 7pm. This Halloween weekend pre-function event will feature jazz tunes from the 1930s and 40s and lots of fun. For more info go to hotclubofspokane.com.

The 'new' Palm Court Grill

If you haven't been to the Palm Court Grill at the Davenport Hotel lately, you need to go see it. The restaurant has been remodeled and it looks fantastic. They have added a bar and have changed the look and feel of the place. Plus they have a new menu. Go try it.

The Fresh Faces of Comedy Tour hits Spokane this weekend

The Spokane Comedy Club inside The Tailgater Sports Bar (1221 N Howard St, Across from the Arena) presents four top comics from the Seattle Comedy Scene on Friday, October 14 and Saturday, October 15 starting at 8:30 pm. Cover is $10, reservations are recommended and can be made at 509-328-9000. Host will be Seattle comic Andrew Ouellette. Fresh Faces of Comedy Tour has Cory Michaelis, Derek Sheen and JR Berard on stage. Michaelis (PNW touring comedian featured on Seattle TV station KING-5's Evening Magazine); Sheen (seen in several online sketch comedy adventures as well as featured on his regular podcast, Delicious Mediocrity); Berard (Touring comic who has hit stages throughout the Northwest and Canada, as well as being heard regularly on 96.5 JACK FM and voices commercials for the Seattle Seahawks and Comcast Infinity).

CdA Oktoberfest October 22

Celebrate Fall, great beer, and having a good time at CdA Oktoberfest, Saturday, October 22 from 3 to 7 pm at the Best Western Coeur d'Alene Inn. There will be 16 different craft beers on tap with North Idaho College Cheerleaders in German Costumes pouring, and live music from 'Meet Revolver'. Join them for a 'red carpet' award ceremony and celebration to honor the winners at 'The Best of Spokane Party 2011' held at The Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox on Friday, October 28th from 7:00pm-11:00pm.

The entrance to The Fox will be flooded with lights, local celebrities and screaming fans. Harlem Globetrotters to bring remarkable 'Rookie Class' to Spokane.
